Check your DMARC and SPF records
Type a domain to read its public MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and see whether anyone could send email as it. The check is free, needs no account and changes nothing in your DNS.

What the check reads
SPF
A DNS record that lists the servers allowed to send email for your domain, so receiving servers can spot mail from anywhere else.
DKIM
A signature on each outgoing message, checked against a key in your DNS. A valid signature shows the mail is yours and unchanged.
DMARC
A DNS record that tells receiving servers what to do with mail that fails SPF and DKIM: deliver it (none), send it to spam (quarantine) or refuse it (reject).
MX
The records that say which servers receive your domain's email. A domain without them usually sends no mail, and can be locked down.
- The check reads public DNS only. DKIM keys are found by their usual names, so a key published under an unusual name can show as missing.
- Receiving mail servers enforce DMARC, not CertPing. A reject policy tells them to refuse forged mail.
DMARC checker questions
01Is the DMARC checker free?
Yes. Checking a domain is free and needs no account. Signing up adds DMARC reports, alerts and a guided move to quarantine and reject.
02What do DMARC none, quarantine and reject mean?
They are the policy a receiving server applies to mail that fails SPF and DKIM. None delivers it and reports it, quarantine sends it to spam, and reject refuses it.
03Why does it say my domain is not registered?
Email is only checked for registered domains. If the name is free, there is no mail to check yet.
04How do I fix a missing DMARC record?
CertPing sets up SPF, DKIM and DMARC in one step on CertPing DNS, or gives you the records to copy at another DNS provider, and checks them.
05What does email security cost?
Your first Domain Security bundle is free. Each additional bundle is $9 a month on Autopilot, billed only while it's on.
