Last updated October 18, 2026
Tell us about a domain registered through CertPing, or DNS hosted on CertPing's nameservers, that is being used for abuse. Anyone can report, and you do not need an account.
What counts as abuse
- Phishing: pages or messages that trick people into giving up passwords, payment details or other personal data.
- Malware: hosting or spreading software that harms devices or steals data.
- Botnets, including command and control servers.
- Pharming: changing DNS answers to send people to a fraudulent site.
- Spam, when it is used to deliver any of the above.
- Impersonating a person or an organisation.
- Fraud, or content that is illegal.
What to include in a report
- The domain name.
- The full URLs involved.
- What happened and when, with the time zone.
- Screenshots of the page or message.
- For abuse by email, the full message headers.
- How we can reach you if we need more detail.
How to report
Email support@certping.comwith the subject "Abuse report" followed by the domain name.
If you are reporting for a law-enforcement authority, say so in the subject line and include your agency and contact details.
What happens next
Our team replies to confirm we received your report. The reply names CertPing, the domain you reported and the date we received it.
We review reports promptly and act when there is evidence of abuse, as described in our Terms. Reports from law-enforcement authorities are reviewed with priority. We may not be able to tell you what action we took.
We use the details in your report to investigate and respond, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We do not give your name or contact details to the domain's registrant unless you agree or the law requires it.
Trademark complaints
If your complaint is only that a domain name is similar to your trademark, and the domain is not being used for abuse, this page is not the place for it. Trademark disputes about domain names go through ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP), or the dispute procedure of the registry for that domain ending.
